Join us at Booneshine Brewing Co for the very first gathering of nonreligious folks in Boone! Come enjoy a beer, a burger, and good conversation with people who share humanist values and support a secular government. This first meetup is all about getting to know each other and imagining what this group could become. We’ll ask:

• What do you want out of this group?
• Should we stick to social gatherings, or also dive into activism and service work?
• What kinds of events would you like to see?

• Social / Community: restaurant or brewery meetups, walks/hikes/kayaking, movie outings, book clubs, arts & crafts, board games
• Activism: attend protests, write letters to legislators
• Service: volunteer at the food bank, trail or road cleanup, raise money for a local cause

We’ll also brainstorm great locations for future events and a name for the group. We hope this is the start of a welcoming space where you can find your people and together, we can build a strong, vibrant community.
