WHERE
We will meet at Liquid Roots Brewing Project, in downtown Lenoir, and carpool to the trailhead approximately 25 minutes away in Collettsville on HWY 90.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina will lead a hike on the Burntfield Branch trail. Located near Wilson Creek in Pisgah National Forest, this trail showcases native wildflowers, a few small waterfalls, and a cave at the end. Participants should expect to walk approximately 3 miles out and back on a natural surface trail with moderate to difficult terrain including multiple stream crossings.

• Waterproof shoes (or water shoes to change into for stream crossings)
• Small daypack for water, snacks, shoes, etc.
• Bring your sense of adventure!
