National Guard and federal police have been patrolling outside DC schools, harassing students and intimidating families. As parents, families, and education leaders, that is unacceptable to us.

On Wednesday the Bard PTO together with Ward 8 State Board of Education Representative Dr. LaJoy Johnson-Law and DC Councilmember Brooke Pinto, chair of the Committee on the Judiciary, will hold a community listening session starting at 4:00 PM.

Ahead of that event, members of the press and public are invited to a rally and press conference to hear from families impacted by this federal presence and our demands for action. Join us!
