Prism is organizing across race, faith, and geography to build collective power for LGBTQ+ justice across Minnesota. In a time when our communities are increasingly under attack, we are launching a bold, multiracial, multifaith movement rooted in courage, belonging, and systemic change.

We believe in a future where every LGBTQ+ person can thrive, and we know it will take all of us, working together, to build it.

What to Expect

• A program at 6:45pm featuring an introduction to Prism's work from Founder and Lead Organizer Rev. Oby Ballinger, as well as messages of hope, urgency, and action from Senator Scott Dibble and Representative Leigh Finke, members of the Queer Caucus of the Minnesota State Legislature.
• Opportunities to connect with community members, hear from current Prism leaders, celebrate our collective strength, and take meaningful action.
• Light hors d'oeuvres and nonalcoholic refreshments.
• A fundraising moment to help launch Prism’s statewide organizing efforts. Thanks to a gift from a generous donor, every contribution of $100 or more will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000!
