On Thursday January 19th students, faculty, and staff from Glendale Community College will gather for a rally in Student Center in solidarity with the American Federation of Teachers and educators across the nation. On this day we invite the campus community to join the movement to declare GCC a #SanctuaryCampus and public space of resistance and protection for our country's most vulnerable people including undocumented students, LGBTQ, Muslims, women, and all people of color. In the wake of one of the most divisive elections in American history it is more important than ever to unite as a campus and commit to defending public education and the Civil Rights of all members of our community.
