What is gender, and how does it shape our identities, communities, and values? In this interactive webinar, Jews for a Secular Democracy and Keshet invite you to explore the fundamental concepts of gender, how it differs from sex and sexual orientation, and what Jewish texts and traditions say about it. We’ll break down key gender terms, discuss how gender identity develops, and highlight why understanding these concepts is essential for fostering inclusive communities.
Beyond learning the basics, we’ll also explore allyship—what it means, why it matters, and how you can play a role in supporting people of all gender identities. Whether you're new to these conversations or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will provide valuable knowledge, tools, and resources to help you engage in meaningful discussions and advocacy.
