Join Team Marcela for our first day of petitioning!

To get Marcela on the ballot, we need to collect thousands of signatures from registered Democrats in the district, and we're getting an early start.

We'll launch our petitioning canvass from sites tbd in Sunset Park and Red Hook. From there, we'll meet our neighbors where they're at by knocking on their doors and engaging with them on the street.  We'll have canvassing shifts during the following times; you can participate for as many or as few of them as you want:

- 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.

- 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

- 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

- 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

If you've never canvassed before, don't worry! We'll have a training before you go out and make sure to pair you with a partner. After our petitioning canvass, we'll meet up at a local spot to eat, drink and share our favorite stories.
