This event is to promote unity in our community; to bring awareness to systemic issues adversely impacting communities of color in Richmond, VA; and what’s at stake with this year's election. This is a final call to action to energize and mobilize registered voters to Go Vote; early or on November 2nd! We are looking to energize and mobilize the faith based community to help us get Souls to the Polls, and Rides to Vote. The “Unity in Our Community” event will feature a few special guest speakers (TBA) and two live performances by local/VA based gospel groups.

Hosted by S.E.E.D. 4 All and the Center for Common Ground’s Democracy Center of Richmond Leaders, we will provide updates on current turnout numbers and our collective outreach work across the state. Our goal is to also help raise funds to support the work of the black led organizations that have partnered with the Democracy Center of Richmond in our mobile campaign to help get out the vote in communities of color. 100% of the proceeds from profits and donations will be used to continue our registration, restoration and advocacy work, which focuses on civic education and training individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities.
