In a state where legislators have passed bills to restrict access to the ballot box (twice), attacked women's rights, the LGBTQIA+ community and public education, Floridians are no strangers to having their freedoms threatened.

How are organizers and community leaders responding to this? On July 7th we will be joined by community advocate and congressional candidate, Maxwell Alejandro Frost, for an important discussion on how voters in Florida are feeling and what YOU can do to help us get out the vote during the primaries and for the midterms.

Maxwell Frost is a long time Florida organizer and activist. As a former National Organizer with the ACLU and the former National Organizing Director with March For Our Lives, he has led the fight to restore voting rights to over 1.6 million Floridians who had previous felony convictions, organized a youth voter turnout program that helped drive record turnout, and helped secure an unprecedented five billion dollars in funding for community-based violence prevention programs in President Biden’s budget proposal.

Not only will you learn about first hand about issues affecting Florida residents and voters, but we will also provide you with information on how you can get involved in our current campaigns to engage Black voters by getting out the vote ahead of the Florida primaries.
