Join the world in solidarity over the climate crisis. Fridays For Future Local groups from around the globe will be going to to the streets to demand climate reparations and justice!

This summer, the climate crisis has only gotten worse. The globe is getting hotter and weather disasters are happening more often and more intense. The Global South and BIPOC communities are the least responsible for the rapid speed of climate change but the most affected by it. The ruling class from the Global North knowingly sacrifices marginalized people and their ecosystems in order to gain profit. Companies such as NV Energy have worked hard on making solar less assessible to everyone and more expensive. Solar energy should be available for everyone and not just homeowners that can afford it. We must speak up for more bills to be passed to create a more equitable city and to hold companies accountable. So bring a sign, a water bottle, and some sunblock and come join us on the 23rd!

People of all ages are welcome! We will have an area for younger kids to play with bubbles and make protest chalk art.
