Millions of school strikers have shown us they’re serious about climate action. Adults, will you join our youth? School strikers are calling on everyone: young people, parents, workers, and all concerned citizens to join massive climate strikes and a week of actions starting on September 20. We, here in Cottage Grove plan to strike at 10 am at Opal Park downtown to deliver a message to our locale that we are as SERIOUS as this issue is. We will make our way to Bohemia Park for a 11-3pm Rally where we will have speakers, kids activities, music, free food, free market and more! People all over the world will use their power to stop “business as usual” in the face of the climate emergency. We will join young people in the streets to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels and emergency action to avoid climate breakdown. We hope you come support the youth all over the world by showing up for your youth here at home!
