We invite any and all HS students to come out and lead us in the walk. At 1:30, we will leave and walk down the Vashon Highway two miles to the Village Green. Please bring drums, signs, bicycles, and wear colorful, celebratory clothes.

We will have two art builds at the Backbone campaign to prepare for the march on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and Wednesday, Sept. 18th. Feel free to drop in any time to make posters, signs, and decorations for the walk.

When we arrive at the Village Green, we will have a few speakers, some music, and a group art project.

Later that evening, please join us at Snapdragon for an evening viewing of climate strikes around the country! In honor of the Global Climate Strike, we will meet up at Snapdragon's Black Cat Cabaret to hang out, watch footage from around the world, and share our wishes and commitments for our future. If you attend the march in the afternoon or other events, send us pictures or videos and we'll show them. This is a joyful gathering, a chance to unite over this serious crisis.
