Global Frackdown – Brooklyn

Start: Saturday, October 11, 2014 2:00 PM

On October 11, Brooklyn will join with communities across the world that are coming together for a global protest to call for a ban on fracking, a dangerous method of drilling for natural gas that puts our air, water, climate and communities at risk.

We'll meet at Sunny's Bar in Red Hook, Brooklyn – one of the many businesses that have lived through the extreme devastation that climate change has already brought to our city through Superstorm Sandy. Together, we'll call for Governor Cuomo to truly lead on climate chnage by calling for a ban on fracking throughout New York State, hear from folks directly affected by climate change, and have a lot of fun along the way!

Sign up to join the Global Frackdown event in Brooklyn on Saturday, 10/11!
