National Day of Action for Real Climate Leadership

Join 350 Conejo / San Fernando Valley and our partners as we call on Representative Julia Brownley (CA-26) to endorse a Green New Deal and commit to a just and equitable transition to a world free from fossil fuels, support green jobs, and reject fossil fuel money.

Congresswoman Brownley has yet to take a position on the Green New Deal. We'll deliver thousands of petition signatures from constituents and call on her to step up and be the real climate leader we need.

On this national day of action, we'll gather at Representative Brownley's Thousand Oaks office. We'll speak about why the Green New Deal matters to us and how she can help advance the goals of climate action, a federal jobs guarantee, reparations for the climate crisis and racial justice.

As presidential hopefuls begin to announce their candidacies and our new Congress works to define their priorities, this is a key moment to keep up the pressure for real climate leadership and a Green New Deal. We've already seen the power of activists mobilizing in the halls of Congress to change the future of climate politics and make the Green New Deal a possibility. Let's keep it up!
