The #GreenWave hits Brighton beach! It's time to celebrate the amazing local council and European election results.

Catch up with your fellow activists, candidates or newly elected Greens. A chance for the Party to say a big thank you for the months of campaigning that made these results possible.

The local results on May 3rd made it the greatest election night in the Green Party’s history.

Across the country we gained 194 councillors, with Green representation on 50 new councils.

And Brighton & Hove led the green wave that swept across the country. We enjoyed the largest share of votes across the city, with 34% of voters supporting Green Party candidates. And we elected 19 councillors - just one shy of the Labour total of 20.

We then did it again with over 35% of the vote in the city that contributed to electing a Green MEP in the South East (our very own Alex Phillips!)
