Please join Urban Environmentalists and the Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) for a "lunch & learn" conversation and Q&A with Dani Mahrer, GRID Alternatives' Development and Communications Manager.

GRID is beloved for its events where volunteers install solar panels on low-income housing - but now is your opportunity to learn about all their other great work! We’ll hear about GRID's groundbreaking non-profit programs in sustainable multifamily housing, community solar, shared clean mobility, workforce development, and more. Dani will also give us a deep dive on how GRID specifically addresses women's issues in its work, from getting more women into the industry to engaging in inclusive community outreach.

About our Speaker:

Dani Mahrer has a background in education, partnership management, and solar finance. Before joining GRID, Dani managed partner on-boarding for Mosaic, an Oakland based solar finance provider, and spent years as an educator at various non-profit organizations. A Southern California native, Dani lived in Jerusalem for four years before moving to the Bay Area. She enjoys playing sports (but not watching them), writing pop culture commentary, and petting other people’s dogs.
