We are hosting a relaunch event for Hackney and Tower Hamlets Friends of the Earth, and we hope you can join us!

We now want to bring some new people and new ideas to support us to grow, and tackle pressing local and national environmental justice issues.

We have run many successful campaigns in the past, including around divesting from fossil fuels, improving air quality and protecting pollinators. We've worked with our local councils and other local groups in the past, and we're keen to do more and reach more people. This is a really exciting year for climate action, in the run up to COP26, and we want to make our voice heard locally and nationally!

Here's what we'll be covering:

• 6:45 - 6:55: We will welcome everyone and together go through the purpose of the re-launch

• 6:55 - 7:05: We will discuss our vision of Hackney and Tower Hamlets. What do we want our boroughs to look like in 5 -10 years?

• 7:05 - 7:25: We will go through the current issues in our boroughs. We will discuss about the issues that we would like to tackle collectively

• 7:25 - 7:45: We will brainstorm together about the solutions we would like to work on and implement to tackle these issues

• 7:45 - 7:50: We will review the history of the group and go through some of the successful campaigns

• 7:50 - 08:00: We will align on the next steps and start planning for our next meetings!
