Join Hand in Hand for our inaugural book club! Our book club is for everyone—read the whole book, a few chapters, or even just a few pages. You'll meet Hand in Hand members and friends from around the country and have a chance to connect for the first time or deepen your friendship.

This month, we'll be reading Alicia Garza's new book The Purpose of Power and discussing how Hand in Hand, alongside domestic workers, family caregivers, and the organizations that support them, are building power, changing policy, and improving material conditions inside and outside of our homes.

Garza writes, "Movements are the story of how we come together when we've come apart." As you're reading, think about what she means, and how the movement(s) you are part of exemplify this.
