We should be able to call 9-1-1 without putting our community in danger. Join us for an in-person community meeting to discuss an alternative crisis response unit that is specially trained to respond to mental health emergencies in place of NOPD. District A participants are invited to talk about personal interactions with the police and consider how we can make sure our neighbors in crisis receive help from a response team trained to provide medical care rather than handcuffs.
