Hey US Bank - Love Climate, Not Trump

Start: Sunday, February 12, 201701:00 PM

U.S. Bank CEO Richard Davis claims to take the science of climate change seriously and to respect indigenous rights, yet is publicly supporting Donald Trump, whose policies seek to withdraw from the Paris Climate agreement, reinstate the Dakota Access and Keystone XL pipelines, and gut the EPA.

U.S. Bank also continues to provide billions of dollars in financing to the fossil fuel industry, including a $275 million credit line to the companies building the Dakota Access Pipeline, and has a close relationship with Enbridge Energy, which owns and seeks to expand its network of oil pipelines that threaten Minnesota waterways.

Join MN350 on Sunday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Walker Art Center entrance on 725 Vineland Pl. in Minneapolis, to hear from Indigenous leaders, serenade Mr. Davis at his home and urge him to break up with the crude oil industry.

We'll be marching to Richard Davis' house to perform a brief scene from Romeo and Juliet, starring Davis as Juliet, the fossil fuel industry as Romeo, and you as the climate movement. Will this end in tragedy? Come find out! Please wear red and prepare for being outdoors.
