Housing Justice Now has been fighting for the right for all people to have a safe home in Winston-Salem. To protect and defend that right, the whole community needs to be a part of this movement, so we are excited to host an HJN Teach-In/Plug-In for our community to hear about the housing crisis in Winston-Salem, and the ways we are fighting back at 7PM Tuesday, July 19 at Granville Park.

We will have discussions on what it means for housing to be a human right, why tenants need a right to counsel in eviction court, and how renters can fight back against bad landlords. There will also be information on how you can plug in to the work we are doing, like our tenant organizing and eviction defense efforts.
