350 South Florida will be hosting an interactive webinar on how to create visual messages that will make a lasting impression on your member of Congress!

Join us FRIDAY April 9 at 5PM as we prepare photo and video testimonials to be submitted to members of Congress as we pressure them to pass the THRIVE Agenda.

What is the THRIVE Agenda?  

THRIVE (Transform, Heal, and Renew by Investing in a Vibrant Economy) is a once-in-a-generation package of transformational legislation that dwarfs Biden's Build Back Better plan and even the Green New Deal!  It would create over 15 million jobs in well paid, family sustaining jobs that would deliver real climate solutions and advance racial, indigenous, gender, and economic justice.

During the next few weeks and months, we will be lobbying Congress to pass this bold agenda.  So far, only 2 of the 9 members of Congress in South Florida have agreed to sponsor this plan.  We need public pressure to remind them that they WORK FOR US, and that we need them to #BuildBackFossilFree so we can all #THRIVE.  

We'll be making calls and sending texts and emails, but one of the MOST effective ways to sway your elected leaders is to visit with them face to face (virtually). That's why we are scheduling meetings with our South Florida Congresspeople to talk to them directly about why this agenda is so important.  Personal stories and experiences make a BIG impact on policy makers, and that's why we want a wide spectrum of our community to join us in meeting with our elected representatives. You do not need to be a policy expert, you just need to have a unique perspective to share!


Since we don't have meetings scheduled just yet, and that not everyone will be able to attend these meetings live, we want to make sure that EVERYONE gets their voice heard by submitting  a photo or video testimonial about what action you want Congress to take!
