Door-to-door canvassing is a key part of how DSA wins campaigns, electoral and otherwise. Many of us will take shifts weekly or more when a campaign is in full gear. But it can be intimidating to go door-to-door. How do we become awesome canvassers and persuade pessimistic, disillusioned neighbors that if they band together, they have the power to change their world?

We’ll go through a lively, in-depth canvassing training, covering challenging situations that arise, talk about how to have deep conversations that start the process of organizing a supporter, and pair up and role-play a cast of characters that we often encounter at the doors.
