Our schools were underfunded, Cuomo was looking to cut billions from Medicaid, and our subway system was falling deeper into debt. Now faced with a worsening public health crisis and a budget deficit upwards of $50 billion, we must act. The richest New Yorkers had their best year ever in 2020, all while working people died from COVID-19 and suffered under more budget cuts. If we’re going to save our state, it’s clear we need to Tax The Rich.
