Bring Category 5 Activism to Save the Planet
Join Hurricane “WeGo” a day-long mobile outreach and organizational effort across the SC low country to help reorient our preparations for the next generation from drift to democracy. Get on our bus! Put complacent elected leaders in the cone of uncertainty. Part of the Global Climate Strike. Wear a yellow safety vest and join our mobile strike force. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bag or backpack. Van pickups at CARTA Superstop at 9 am and Mary Street Transit Center at 9:20 am. Return 5 pm.
This event is being held on the 30 Anniversary of Hurricane Hugo devastating the Lowcountry. It is part of the Global Climate Strike and our two week effort to take the campaign to save the planet to political leaders from local election officials such as the people running for Mayor in Charleston, N. Charleston, Summerville & Mt. Pleasant to the national figures running for President expected at the Blue Jamboree two weeks after this event.Sponsored by Best

Transportation home from wherever we are in the tri county area will be the sole responsibility of the person ejected. While this event in non partisan, we believe in the reality of human produces and accelerated climate change, the value of improved public transit and the value of Union representation for workers.
