Marshals play a crucial role in any street action, march or protest. This workshop is essential for anyone wanting to Marshall at our December Rebellion events. It will give you an understanding of effective Marshalling and help you gain confidence to be part of XR Vic’s Marshals team.

• Maintaining focus
• Maintaining access for passersby  
• Ensuring road safety for all
• De-escalating tension
• Facilitating Emergency vehicle thoroughfare
• Sharing responsibility for taking care that events are consistent with the values and principles of XR.
• Taking care of ourselves and each other
