When the dust settles in Scotland, Wales, Hartlepool, and mayoral and council elections just about everywhere, Compass will be there as a place for progressives to orientate themselves.

On Tuesday 11th May at 6pm, we’ll be surveying the aftermath of the elections with a stellar line-up:

  • Sir John Curtice, polling expert, Professor of Politics at the University of Strathclyde and Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Social Research

  • Caroline Lucas, Green MP for Brighton Pavilion

  • Beth Winter, Labour MP for Cynon Valley

  • Layla Moran, Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon

  • Tommy Sheppard, Scottish National Party MP for Edinburgh East

  • Clive Lewis, Labour MP for Norwich South

Where do the results leave progressive politics going forward? Where did progressives cooperate, and where could they have cooperated better? Is Indy going to happen? What’s happened in the critical 'Red Wall'? And, crucially, what will all this mean for the prospect of a Progressive Alliance to overturn the Tory majority in Westminster?

Sign up to have your say on all these questions and more.

With none other than John Curtice crunching the numbers and innovative progressive politicians from across the UK sharing their wisdom, it’s time to get serious about where we go from here.

Compass is a home for those who want to build and be a part of a Good Society; one where equality, sustainability and democracy are not mere aspirations, but a living reality. We are founded on the belief that no single issue, organisation or political party can make a Good Society a reality by themselves, so we have to work together to make it happen. Compass is a place where people come together to create the visions, alliances and actions to be the change we wish to see in the world.
