On January 9th, people in all 50 states will send a message to every US Senator: reject Donald Trump's reckless climate denying cabinet nominees. SoCal 350 will be joining this effort with a Day of Action focused on Senator Dianne Feinstein.

The Day Against Denial will fight back against some of Trump’s most dangerous cabinet picks:

- Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon, for Secretary of State
- Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator
- Ex-Gov. Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy
- Rep. Ryan Zinke for Department of Interior

The climate is changing, and anyone who denies it shouldn't be in the White House cabinet. It's up to the Senate to stop these nominations -- and up to us to show up in person to tell our Senators to fight Trump's Climate Denial Cabinet.

SoCal 350 will be focusing our advocacy on calling the offices of both Senator Feinstein and Senator Kamala Harris.

WE WILL NOT BE SPONSORING A STREET ACTION! This is a call-in event.

OUR GOAL: We want to land a phone call into Senator Feinstein's LA Office every ten minutes throughout the work day to show that we are organized and ready to stand up to Trump's climate denial agenda. She needs to know she has our support when it's time to take bold positions.

I am urging Senator Feinstein-Harris to stand with science and our communities and against President-elect Trump’s Climate Denial Cabinet. I am calling to support hundreds of actions today around the country to show solidarity with Indigenous leaders who are in the front lines of the fossil fuel resistance movement, and I am also urging the Senator to lead the fight against the following Trump Cabinet nominees: Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State, Scott Pruitt for Environmental Protection Agency Administrator, Ryan Zinke for Secretary of the Interior, and Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy.  Sen. Feinstein-Harris must lead the way, just as California has continued to lead, when it comes to fighting greenhouse gas emissions and offering clean, green solutions like solar, geothermal and wind energy.

Coming off the hottest year in history, with a corrupt and anti-climate executive branch, we need our Senators to do everything in their power to stand up against Trump’s egregious and greedy appointments.  The choice is clear: you either stand with science or stand with the fossil fuel industry.
