This Monday, January 6, help us take action to defend CDPAP home care and Personal Assistant jobs for tens of thousands of New Yorkers! Governor Hochul finalized a deal to hand administration of the entire CDPAP program to just one fiscal intermediary, an out-of-state, for-profit corporation called PPL. PPL doesn’t have the infrastructure in place to make this transition happen on time, and we fear tens of thousands of people will lose their home care and their PA jobs.

PPL’s phone lines open on Monday, January 6th, and we’re going to test if they actually have their systems up and running. If PPL shows us they aren’t prepared to handle this massive transition, we will be ready to tell the truth to legislators and the press!
