Join the Brum Bin Strike Megapicket- 9 May 2025

Start: Friday, May 09, 202506:00 AM

Unite bin workers employed by Birmingham City Council are facing huge cuts to terms and conditions with some facing a £8,000 a year pay cut.

These workers have been in dispute since January, and are now on all out strike action. To the shame of both the Labour Council, enforced by commissioners of a Labour Government, Hays and Job & Talent agencies are providing strike breaking labour.

We are calling the whole labour and wider trade union movement to join us as we support the picket line at Lifford Lane Depot from 6am on 9 May until 10am.

RSVP to let the strikers know you are coming.

Victory to the Brum Bin Strikers!
