It has been MFPE's and the Montana Professional Teaching Foundation's great privilege to provide NBC candidate support since 1997. Jump Start is our annual event that is designed to provide intensive training to candidates on how to be successful in each component of the NBC process. Jump Start offers a session on each of the components of NBC as well as a session on the foundations of candidacy. During these sessions, candidates receive tips on completing the National Board Certification process from National Board Certified teachers. In addition to Jump Start, MPTF has a cadre of trained facilitators that are available to assist candidates throughout the NBC process.

JUMP START:

Summer 2020 Jump Start is offered twice. Jump Start Montana will be a three-day workshop that will prepare you to be a successful National Board Candidate. The three-day workshop will cover Foundations of Candidacy, and Components 1, 2, 3, 4.
