Join Quinn Nystrom (MN Chapter Leader), Jillian Rippolone (MI Chapter Leader + T1DChick) & T1International for the next Caravan to Canada!

We'll be leaving from Minneapolis, MN going to London, Ontario, Canada June 28-30. We'd love to have you join us!

Here is a rough itinerary for the weekend....

Friday, June 28th - 7 a.m. Leave from Downtown Minneapolis, MN on a Coach Bus

Stop near Madison, WI at roughly around 11:15 a.m.

At Kwik Trip 6325 Pepsi Way, Windsor, WI 53598

*20 minute STOP. Depart at 11:35 a.m.

Stop near Chicago, IL area roughly 4:55 p.m.

At McDonalds 5816 S Franklin St, Michigan City, IN 46360

*20 minute STOP. Depart at 5:15 p.m.

Stop in East Lansing, MI at roughly 7:45 p.m.

At 7765 E Saginaw St, East Lansing, MI 48823

*15 minute STOP. Depart at 8:00 p.m.

*We'll be staying at Guest House on the Mount in London for both nights which varies in price from $49-$119/night depending on the type of room you choose (some have shared bathrooms, half baths, and private bathrooms). It's a beautiful place. Make sure to book your hotel ASAP though, because they will book up quick (you're booking for Friday and Saturday night)! Reservations have to be made by each individual, we will not be responsible for that. Feel free to find roommates to lower your cost. Their website is: https://guesthouseonthemount.ca/.

Saturday, June 29th - We'll start in the late morning and go to one of these two places, (the schedule is not confirmed yet) Banting House (one of the men who invented insulin), which is a museum now. The other place we'll be going to is a pharmacy or two (depending on how many people we have) to get insulin. In the evening, we'll have a T1D Meetup, which will be a social gathering for people to connect and celebrate the discovery of insulin and find hope that Canada has figured out the insulin pricing issue, so we should organize and advocate in the US for the same thing.

Sunday, June 30th - We'll depart at 7 a.m. on the Coach Bus.

Bonus: The bus is FREE (in partnership with T1International and Health Care Voter) of charge and we have hotel scholarships available. Please e-mail us if you're interested in one.

*Kids are welcome to come, but if they are 17 and under, they must be accompanied by an adult.
