Join us on Tuesday June 2 for the last Triad Climate Café before we take a break for summer.
We will continue to meet and do our regular Third Act work this summer and the climate café will be back in the fall.
Topic : Fossil Fuel Resistance: Aidan Loretz of 7 Directions of Service will be facilitating a conversation around elements of “Fossil Fuel Resistance”; discussing pipelines, datacenters, and ways to advocate for resilient communities.
Speaker: Aidan Loretz (they/she): Aidan is a Community Organizer for Haw River Assembly and the Pipelines Campaign Manager for 7 Directions of Service. A 2024 graduate from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, with a BA in Sociology and a concentration in Communication Studies, she specializes in Environmental Justice and Opposing Fossil Fuels
We will end this Climate Café with a sing along. Please join us in singing SONGS OF HOPE & JUSTICE with Joel Landau. Joel sings and plays acoustic guitar and has been playing around Greensboro for decades. ( He’s in his third act.) No singing experience required, just a love for justice.
Please join us after the singalong for pizza and community!
