All are welcome to join Climate Action RI for our June Community Meeting and annual Members Meeting.

Our guest speaker will be Amanda Barker,  RI Policy Associate at Green Energy Consumers Alliance. She'll give her perspective on the three climate bills that passed in the closing hours of the legislative session. We'll also have an open discussion with Amanda and CARI's Politics Team on strategies that may produce more ambitious results next year.

It's also our annual members' meeting. This means that we'll take a few minutes to hold a vote for our new Board of Directors. The nominating committee has proposed a reshuffling of officers and a new addition, as follows:

Co-Presidents: Caitlin Sanford and Jeff Migneault

Vice-President (continuing): Abby Huber

Secretary (new to Board): Diane Hill

Treasurer: Will Nakshian

At-large Board members: Justin Boyan and Brian Wilder

This event will be in-person in Providence as well as virtual on Zoom. Please come in person if you can, but note that you'll need to descend several stairs. Registrants will receive instructions for both in-person and Zoom attendance.
