In times like this, when marginalized people are being targeted because of their religion, ethnicity, and nationality, we must not be passive bystanders. We must speak out, stand up, and act up for anyone who is targeted. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Take a stand to show your support for our Muslim, immigrant, and refugee neighbors. Show that hate, intolerance, and bigotry have no place in Kitsap. From one end of the Manette Bridge to the other, show that Kitsap is a place of inclusion, respect, dignity, and justice. Bring colorful signs, banners, prayer flags, pennants, and balloons.
