This is a virtual event

Learn songs of liberation and some labor history at this community sing-along led by award-winning singer Saro Lynch-Thomason. Collective singing has long been an important way for people to connect across language, age, and culture to unite in efforts to win better pay, unionize and simply survive. In this community sing, Saro will teach and lead songs from Appalachian labor and environmental movements, the Civil Rights movement, and more.

Taking place via Zoom, participants will sing on mute but will be able to hear themselves singing along with the song leader.
