In 2023, Union Power built NYC-DSA's first ever labor-specific legislative campaign around the Secure Jobs Act. We learned a ton of lessons about how to build effective campaigns that build power for workers.

We want to take those lessons and use them to forge a long-term strategy. Join us to debrief the Secure Jobs Act and brainstorm next steps, from building a Labor Legislative Roundtable (to plan future campaigns) to collaborating with Eco-Soc's Social Housing Campaign and electing UAW organizer Claire Valdez to state assembly.

This will be a low-key discussion over coffee and pastries. Newbies and fresh ideas welcome!
