League of Women Voters DC at GoodHope Marketplace, SE

Start: Tuesday, September 22, 201510:00 AM

Come join us on Sept 22, 2015 for National Voter Registration Day. We will be registering voters at Good Hope Marketplace on Alabama Ave, SE between 10:00 am - Noon and 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

In 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. In 2016, we want to make sure no one in the District of Columbia is left out. We have a lot of work to do to ensure that every eligible DC resident is registered and ready to vote in 2016.

We are 'hitting the streets" on September 22nd to start the work of making certain everyone is signed up. And we're going to need you help to get there. Please join us.

Parking is free in the Marketplace lot.  The site is across the street from the Naylor Road Bus Stop. Plan your trip on WMATA here.

The League of Women Voters of D.C. is a nonpartisan all volunteer organization working to encourage the active and informed participation of the citizens of Washington, D.C. in their local government and to increase understanding of public policy issues facing District residents.
