Leeds Citizens Delegates Assembly 2023

Start: Monday, March 20, 2023 6:00 PM

Join your fellow Citizens from across the City of Leeds to hear stories of community campaigning and share your experiences to build people power for change.

Leeds Citizens are an alliance of civil society organisations across the city that are working together to campaign for change for the common good. The alliance includes faith groups, universities, schools, third-sector and community organisations.

On the 20th of March 2023, we will be gathering Citizens from across Leeds at Carr Manor Community School in Leeds at 6pm for a Citizens Assembly. At this assembly, we are coming together to celebrate our alliance and hear from teams and organisations campaigning from different parts of the city. We will be using our collective power to launch a citywide campaign.

Tracy Brabin (West Yorkshire Mayor), Chief Superintendent Stephen Dodds (West Yorkshire Police) and Brandon Jones, (First Bus), will be in attendance.

You are invited to join us along with your fellow citizens at this Citizens Assembly at the following address:

Carr Manor Community School,
Carr Manor Rd,
Moortown,
Leeds LS17 5DJ

Please arrive from 5pm onwards.
