This is a virtual event

Not planning on heading out to a rally on Trump Tuesday? Making phone calls is a great way to be heard!

Friday was an incredible victory for Americans—and also an incredible victory for you. There is no way TrumpCare would have been defeated before coming to a vote if it hadn’t been for the thousands of office visits, phone calls, and town hall questions from constituents like you. This is your win, and you did it by standing indivisible. Take a look at this article in the Washington Post if you need to remind yourself of what you have achieved together—simply by taking a few minutes to make a few phone calls!

We hope you and your group are taking the time to celebrate—you deserve to relish this moment, and be proud of what you’ve accomplished!

Then, it’s time to get back to work—because standing indivisible works.

Between 11:00 and 1:00 Tuesday, we will bombard our Republican House Representative's offices with phone calls, and sometimes emails and faxes.  (They all count!)

Below are phone/fax numbers and email addresses and topics to use in calling your House Reps.

REPRESENTATIVE CALLS:

Darrell Issa

SD (760) 599-5000

DC (202) 225-3906

Fax (202) 225-3303

Email:  https://issa.house.gov/contact

Duncan Hunter

SD (619) 448-5201

DC (202) 225-5672

Fax (619) 449-2251

Email: https://hunter.house.gov/contact-me/email-me

ISSUES TO DISCUSS:

1)  Give your MoC fast feedback on their planned TrumpCare vote.

Even though the vote didn’t happen, it’s vital that our representative hears our disappointment that they might have supported it. Neither Issa nor Hunter gave any indication they would oppose the bill (there were even ads planned to thank Issa and others for voting to repeal!). We can freely assume they were going to vote for it - and we can let them know how we feel about that.

2)  Demand an independent, special investigator to look into the ties between Trump and Russia

. The Trump-Russia scandal took itself to next level last week, when FBI director James Comey confirmed that his agency has been actively investigating Trump-Russia ties since last July. Yet House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes has decided his loyalty lies with Trump - the man he is supposed to be investigating - rather than his own committee. The integrity of the committee has been compromised - even Senator John McCain thinks so.
