Swing Left's 2020 strategy is bold but achievable! We aim to take back the White House, the Senate, and also the state legislatures key to undoing Republican gerrymandering. The important battles for winning all of these races are concentrated in 11 states that Swing Left calls the SUPER STATES.*
We'll be writing letters to folks in the SUPER STATES to register voters and to get out the vote in relevant special elections. In our voter-registration letters, we're now including a state-specific voter registration form and a postage-paid envelope for recipients to return the form in! Swing Left is partnering with the Voter Participation Center and Vote Forward using well-tested letter formats and methods for registering and motivating likely Democratic voters. The Voter Participation Center has over a decade of experience and success with engaging voters by mail!
*Super States = Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin. Another important state that we write letters to is Virginia, for the state legislature elections there in November 2019.
