LIV Golf is a Saudi-owned, high-money sportswashing operation that wants us to forget Saudi tyranny, including the 2018 murder and dismemberment of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Saudi Arabia has paid the Trump family millions in bogus licensing fees and "invested" billions in Trump real estate projects, in violation of the US Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause. Saudi Arabia is also driving climate change. It exports more oil than any other country and has consistently blocked international action on greenhouse gases.

Holding a LIV tournament at Trump's DC-area golf club deepens this cesspool of corruption. LIV also insults the memory of the dead Jamal Khashoggi, who was a resident of northern Virginia at the time of his murder. Actions Lab and other Third Act working groups are supporting local organizers, who have developed an amazing plan to disrupt the tournament by exercising our First Amendment Rights to free speech.

LIV has recently announced that Saudi Arabia will not fund tournaments after this one. Let’s use this final Saudi-sponsored tournament to make clear our opposition to Saudi blood, oil, and corruption influencing and enriching Trump and his family.
