The Trump-Saudi corruption cesspool is coming to Northern Virginia! LIV Golf, the failing Saudi-owned sportswashing operation, will hold one of its last US events at the so-called “Trump Nationial Golf Club DC” (which is actually in Sterling, Virginia!), May 7-10. Third Act will be at the club entrance on opening day, Thursday, May 7, to send a clear message: No Blood, No Oil, No War, No Corruption.

Why protest LIV Golf? Saudi’s crown prince created LIV to distract from the 2018 murder and dismemberment of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a Northern Virginia resident. Meanwhile, the Saudi royals are paying the Trump family billions of dollars. Together, the Saudi royals and Trump and his minions are driving climate catastrophe, profiting from war and record-high oil prices while blocking the transition to clean, renewable energy.

Millions of dollars in sportswashing by a Saudi crown prince and an American wanna-be king isn’t working. LIV is in the rough and the Saudis plan to shut the money spigot at the end of the year. Journalists are eager to write the next chapter in the LIV Golf obituary. Our peaceful, lively protest will tie our message to a story they want to write.

Protests will be held all four days of the tournament, but the biggest will be opening day. Third Act Actions Lab, in partnership with Third Act DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV), will anchor the opening day protest when many of our younger friends are working, Thursday, May 7, 10:30 am-2:00 pm. We will also be supporting local organizers on the other three days.
