When and where do I need to be?
We’ll meet at 9am at the WFSE Legislative and Political Action (LPA) office (5th Floor, #503) located at 906 Columbia St SW, Olympia, WA 98501. There is plenty of parking on the street and a few reserved spots across from the building. Please call us at 800-562-6002 (ask for LPA) the day before your scheduled lobby day to see if there’s a reserved spot available. We will reimburse your travel expenses, including parking fees.
What if I need air travel or hotel accommodations?
If you need air travel or hotel accommodations to attend this Lobby Day event, please use this form to formally request travel. Prior to making a travel request, please carefully review the event details to ensure accurate travel arrangements are requested (e.g., where the meeting will be held, what time it starts, whether or not meals are provided, etc. )
HOTEL RESERVATIONS—Overnight Accommodations will be covered by LPA on a case-by case basis, and it should not be assumed that LPA will cover the cost. All of the requests MUST be approved in advance. Locals are more than welcome to cover overnight costs for their members if they'd like but meals are a local expense as LPA provides breakfast and lunch during lobby days. All authorized reservations will be confirmed at the Hotel RL - Olympia under the WFSE direct bill account, and you will receive confirmation directly from the hotel, so please keep an eye out for that email. The room charges will be billed to the WFSE account and when applicable charged back to your local per capita.
AIRLINE RESERVATIONS-- LPA will cover the cost of travel (mileage or airfare and rental car- carpooling is highly encouraged) for members coming to Olympia for Lobby days. Please be sure to include all the required information per TSA rules: DATE OF BIRTH, GENDER, FULL NAME exactly as it appears on the unexpired government-issued identification that you intend to present at the airport prior to boarding. You must provide your middle name if the government-issued identification includes a middle name. If you do not have a middle name or your identification does not include a middle name, you do not need to provide it.
