Long Island Climate Summit

From drought to depleted aquifers to pollution to fisheries collapse and sea level rise, human activity is changing the way our earth works.

The Long Island Climate Summit will bring people together from across our island to explore how climate change/global warming is already affecting us. We will:

  • Make connections with our neighbors and with others around the island
  • Find ways to get involved to build our future & defend our communities from climate change and its causes

The event will begin at 12PM and last until 5PM. From 12PM-1PM, there  will be open tabling from environmental and human rights organizations; programming will begin at 1PM, with a keynote speaker, free lunch, and workshops on human rights issues and skills.

Childcare is available.
