Maine DSA is putting on a movie night for its members. We are starting with the Soviet animated flic, Return to Treasure Island.

This film was made to emphasize health, good diet, and exercise to the young people in the Soviet Union. Dr. Livesey is a larger than life character, a big upgrade from his minor role in the American film, who encourages abstention from alcohol and tobacco, while promoting good diet and exercise. The straight-edge heroes who follow his advice easily best their pirate combatants.
