Webinar: Equal Votes and Women's Representation in Politics

We would like to invite you to a special webinar that delves into the impact of proportional representation on increasing women's representation in politics.

We are honoured to feature three esteemed international speakers who will share their insightful personal experiences.

Details of the Meeting:

  • Date: Thursday 20 March
  • Time: 6pm to 7pm GMT

The Honourable Donna Dasko, Senator for Ontario

Senator Dasko was appointed to the Senate of Canada in 2018 after a career as one of Canada's best-known pollsters, and the first pollster ever appointed to the Senate. She was formerly Senior Vice-President of Environics Research Group Ltd and built the firm from a small consultancy into one of Canada's leading research firms.

Dr. Dasko's passion for the promotion of women in politics has guided much of her advocacy. She is co-founder and past National Chair of Equal Voice, an NGO which advocates for more women in elected politics.

Christina Olumeko

Christina is a Member of the Folketing for The Alternative in Copenhagen. She has a busy profile as a spokeswoman on digitization, rural districts and islands, minorities and gender equality, education, higher education and research, democracy, finance, fiscal affairs, monetary affairs and mobility.
