Women are generating powerful research with the opportunity to change the world for the better. But so often, quality research fails to have the impact or influence on decision making that it should. In this upcoming WELA Experts Session, we want to explore specifically how to harness the power of women developing research to advance environmental and climate justice.
From connecting researchers with fellow change makers, getting noticed in the right networks, and engaging others early in your process - we’ll consider how collaborative leadership, co-design and relational practice can make sure you’re getting the biggest outcomes from your research project.
Our panelists include:
- Amanda Tattersall, University of Sydney’s Policy Lab Education Lead & Postdoctoral Fellow; host of the ChangeMakers podcast; co-founder of GetUp; founder Sydney Alliance
- Kate MacKenzie, Strategy and communications expert working at the intersection of climate, finance and economics; fellow at the Centre for Policy Development
- Sangeetha Chandrashekeran, Deputy Director at the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute
The conversation will be moderated by Asmaa Guedira, WELA Community Builder, and consultant in collaborative innovation and human-centered design.
