Learning Thursdays is back for January! This month we'll be looking at Building and Maintaining a Citizens Alliance. Building collective power is at the root of community organising, and this month we'd like to discuss with you the fundamentals and techniques behind creating a sustainable Alliance. Throughout this training series we aim to equip community leaders - both those that are new to community organising as well as those with more extensive experience - with the tools to apply learning to effective change-making in their community.

Organising People: how to build a powerful and effective leadership team in your chapter: For anyone who would like to attend our masterclass on these topics, please join us on 21st January 16:00-17:15.

Your leadership team is the beating heart of your local chapter. It's the space where key leaders gather to strategise for power, impact and change. How do you ensure it is the most powerful and effective space it can be? And how to you make use of the talent and energy in your team?
In this session we'll be unpacking some key principles for running and maintaining effective chapter leadership teams, and we'll be hearing from two current Citizens UK leadership group members, Karen Rooms and Luljeta Nuzi. Karen will be reflecting on forming leadership groups within new alliances in both Nottingham and Leicester, whilst Luljeta will unpack her experiences of joining a long-established chapter in East London.

Register by filling in your details and you will receive the Zoom link for the session.

We hope you can make it!
