We invite you to join us in solidarity with one another to march on May 1st, 2025 in honor of International Workers’ Day with origins right here in Chicago. In 1886, labor demonstrations and actions surrounding the Haymarket Affair shook the nation and from it was born the 8 hour work day. When we come together, we always win! In a society built upon racial capitalism, liberation for all on Turtle Island is a labor issue. All of our liberation is connected. Nobody is free until we are all free.

Our coalition is multiracial, multicultural, and multilingual. We need you to join us to strengthen our movement for liberation against the Bosses, deportations, racism, anti-Blackness, transphobia, ableism, and the US War Machine.

In 2006, we marched on March 10th in response to proposed legislation H. R. 4437 that would penalize anyone that would help immigrants. This action had a turnout of around 300,000. On May Day, International Workers’ Day of the same year, we marched again with an estimated 500,000 strong!

This year, we will hold a week of action: marching with a goal of 1 million people on May 1st, stopping work on May 1st, 2nd, and 5th, and boycotting companies that cave into the MAGA agenda like Goya, Miller, Target, and Walmart. We want to build as much People Power as possible!
