Last Saturday, over 100 people attended a rally in Footscray Park to tear down the flood wall. ABC news, 9news, and 7 news were there, and it was an impressive show of community strength!

Now, it’s so important we continue the campaign for proper flood prevention, a Climate Jobs Guarantee, housing for all, and tearing down the flood wall!!!

We’re holding a community organising meeting on December 3rd at 11am at West Footscray Neighbourhood House to share ideas on how we can WIN this campaign. We will use the day to imagine how spaces can change, discuss Melbourne’s west needs for good public service jobs, and plan for how our communities can be transformed. Everyone welcome, and bring a mate!
